Privacy Policy

APT Coaching is a private personal-training app. Your coach uses it to manage sessions, send you workouts, and keep track of your progress. This policy explains exactly what the app stores about you, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.

The short version. Only you and your coach can see your information. We do not sell it, we do not advertise, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. There are no analytics tools and no advertising networks in this app.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect, and why

Your name, email address and phone number	To create your account and so your coach can contact you
Date of birth	Optional. Helps your coach and the AI assistant give age-appropriate guidance
Your goals, fitness level, injuries and physical limitations	So your coach can programme safely around them. This is the whole point of the app
Dietary preferences and food allergies	So nutrition guidance never suggests something you cannot eat
Your workout history — weights, repetitions and notes you record	To track progress over time
Sessions you book and cancel	To run the calendar
Payment records — the package, the amount, the date, the method	So your coach can track what you have paid and how many sessions remain
Messages you send to the AI assistant, and its replies	So the conversation makes sense across visits, and so your coach can see what you have been asking about
A device identifier for notifications	Only if you allow notifications. It addresses your device; it does not identify you personally

We never see your card or bank details. Payments happen in person, in cash or by direct transfer between you and your coach. The app only records that a payment happened. There is no card processing in this app at all.

What we do not collect

No location tracking of any kind
No access to your contacts, photos or files
No advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other apps or websites
No analytics or behavioural profiling tools
No card, bank or financial account details

Who can see your information

You. Everything in your own account.
Your coach. Your profile, goals, injuries, allergies, workouts, bookings, payment records and your conversations with the AI assistant. She needs this to coach you properly, and you should assume she can read your AI conversations.
Other clients: nothing. No client can see another client's information. This is enforced by the database itself, not just by hiding screens in the app.

Companies that process data for us

We use three service providers. None of them sell your data or use it for advertising.

Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models. If you would rather your training and health details were not sent to an AI service at all, ask your coach to switch the AI assistant off for your account. Everything else in the app carries on working.

Where your data is held

Our providers operate internationally, so your information may be stored and processed outside Qatar, including in the United States and Europe. By using the app you agree to that transfer.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, plus a short period afterwards. Payment records may be kept longer where required for accounting. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your profile, workout history, bookings and AI conversations.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

See what we hold about you
Correct anything that is wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in the app
Have your account and data deleted
Withdraw consent for the AI assistant, while keeping the rest of the app
Turn notifications off, on your device or by asking your coach

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is enforced at the database level, so one client's account cannot read another's even if the app is tampered with. Notes your coach writes about you privately are visible only to her.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.

Children

This app is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 16. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to your using it and to this policy. If we learn that a child under 16 has an account, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything significant we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
